How do you get creatively “alive” again after burnout?
Our take
Reigniting your creative spark after experiencing burnout can feel daunting, especially when a demanding 9-5 job drains your mental energy. Many share the struggle of feeling disconnected from passions like photography, where inspiration seems elusive and the desire to create wanes. Yet, this journey doesn't have to be solitary. By exploring new perspectives, seeking community support, and nurturing your artistic instincts, you can rediscover that vibrant energy. Join the conversation and share your experiences; together, we can find paths back to creative fulfillment.
I work a 9-5 office job that completely drains me mentally, and lately I feel like I lost touch with the creative part of myself. Photography is honestly the thing I care about most and what I actually want to do with my life, but right now I just feel stuck.
I still love photography, but I have no inspiration, no ideas, no urge to even pick up the camera sometimes. It’s like my brain is constantly tired.
Did anyone here go through something similar? How did you get yourself moving again creatively while working a job that burns you out?
