Lost shots from a solo trip

Hello everyone! I recently embarked on a solo trip and captured numerous stunning images, but I’m facing a frustrating issue. After inserting the SD card into my adapter, the images aren’t displaying in the files, and my camera shows a question mark along with the message “unable to display.” This has left me worried about losing these precious memories. I would greatly appreciate any advice or solutions you might have to help me recover my photos. Thank you for your assistance!
