Paying a photographer who wants to shoot in late evening.
Our take
When collaborating with a photographer, aligning on vision is essential. If your preference is for bright, sunny pictures but the photographer insists on shooting during the late evening, it’s crucial to reassess the partnership. Artistic styles vary, and if their approach doesn't resonate with your brand, it may lead to dissatisfaction. Consider whether their portfolio reflects your desired aesthetic. If not, it might be best to explore other options that can authentically capture the vibrant images you envision for your website.
I need some new pictures for my website and the photographer I want to work with wants to do pictures from 5 to 8, which I think is way too late. I do not want moody dark pictures. I want bright sunny pictures. He seems very adamant about this and said that’s his style. Should I forget about it and not work with him? because if we do this and the pictures aren’t what I want, I’m gonna get mad and ask for money back.
