taking photos for free to friends

Our take

Hey everyone! I often capture stunning photos and videos for my friends during events or while riding my motorcycle, and I do this for free. However, I’ve noticed a lack of appreciation—many don’t even thank me or tag me on social media. While I love sharing my artistic vision, I believe recognition is important, even if I’m not a professional. I’d love to hear how you handle similar situations. What do you say to friends who expect free shots without acknowledging your efforts?

Hey everyone!

My photos and videos are above average and actually really good, even though I don't do this for a living. Sometimes, when I'm at events or out riding my motorcycle, I take photos and videos for close friends for free.

I'm starting to hate this because most of the time they don't even thank me or tag me on social media. Even if I don't work in this field, I'd still like to get some credit or promotion. You never know what could happen.

How do you guys handle this situation? What do you tell people when they expect free shots?
