Would you rather a vacation home in your favorite country or several trips a year?

We have been renting a home for years in the mountains in a town in Central America, that we love and visit often.

Recently my husband feels we should stop that and use that money to go on a few trips a year instead to new places.

I think it would be smarter but I feel attached to that house and the memories.

Curious for new perspectives on this because I feel like I am going in circles. ​
