Mid rise vs. High Rise?

I shared some pics recently for advice, and a ton of people said that I should do a high rise look instead of mid rise. I’ve never worn high rise in my life. Does it actually look better? I’ve looked at it too long, and now everything looks weird.

I know that tucking seaters is controversial, but I included it just in case. That’s new territory for me too. Thank you for any feedback.
