AI Advent
Our take
Hey guys,
Hope everyone is well, wo I am a product and food photographer in a third world country. I am an expert, one of the very few in the country and I am fortunate enough to work with the big brands here. Since it's a third world country even the big brands here and their agencies are trying to cut as much production cost as possible and I've seen them starting the switch to AI, mainly Nano banana. I love this work that I do but it seems to me that it would be a good idea to start considering other income sources before the switch completely happens, if it does. I love to travel and wanna somehow tie it up with my passion for photography but the passport of a third world country gets in the way. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

- How do I publish my work online without it being fed to aiI have been taking pictures on my cameras for years like since 2017 and have explored and photographed lots of unseen and interesting spots on my traveling adventures, while I was in uni for photography. I have never posted anything online on a website and never considered my work to be good enough but yesterday while going through my pictures after a long time I realized It’s no where near bad and should be posted out there so other’s get to experience what I experienced too… only issue is people just feed everything to ai these these to Train it and at my old creative work place they never did any shooots they just took pictures from google and fed it to to make some changes.. Imagine being an artist taking 8,9 hours plus hikes to take pictures of nature and you see it on a calendar or smthn because a company wanted to avoid copy rights or designing a whole set and directing a shoot and then seeing it on Pinterest because a furniture company decided to feed it ai to place their furniture in it submitted by /u/One-Regret-2403 [link] [comments]
- Photography AI tools!Everyone, I am in wedding and fashion/model photography industry. I am looking at automating a few segments of the processing sessions (mainly for Wedding, since for fashion we need to work on the nuances). Has anyone come across any tools that helps in Culling the images Auto Face recognition Tagging the image based on events Auto apply edits (can be done in Adobe Lightroom, but still wanted to setup a workflow) [yes, human touch js required and the edits will be supervised] Auto upload into any cloud storage (whichever is good) A few months back I heard many AI apps weren't up to the mark and still required a lot of human work. Is that the case even today? I went through the apps mentioned in the FAQ, and I couldn't find a workflow setup. NOTE: I use Sony A7 III body, Adobe Lightroom of light corrections, and Google Drive for storage. submitted by /u/AltruistWatson [link] [comments]
