Photography AI tools!
Our take
Everyone, I am in wedding and fashion/model photography industry.
I am looking at automating a few segments of the processing sessions (mainly for Wedding, since for fashion we need to work on the nuances).
Has anyone come across any tools that helps in
Culling the images
Auto Face recognition
Tagging the image based on events
Auto apply edits (can be done in Adobe Lightroom, but still wanted to setup a workflow) [yes, human touch js required and the edits will be supervised]
Auto upload into any cloud storage (whichever is good)
A few months back I heard many AI apps weren't up to the mark and still required a lot of human work.
Is that the case even today?
I went through the apps mentioned in the FAQ, and I couldn't find a workflow setup.
NOTE: I use Sony A7 III body, Adobe Lightroom of light corrections, and Google Drive for storage.

- Do you think more "natural" editing will be in demand due to the influx of AI?Recently saw some professional photos someone had posted and I know they didn't use AI to process the faces, but the faces gave the same kind of vibes as AI. I also see similarities when the photo has the saturation dialed up or things just look too smooth. I had the thought that if I was paying for someone to take photos of my family, I would not be happy with them looking like that, even though I know that it's a stylistic thing and the photos would be considered good in most groups. Has anyone experienced clients asking for less processing or seen people taking more of their own photos and relying less on professional photography services due to AI? submitted by /u/x_Caffeine_Kitten_x [link] [comments]
- Do you think the demand for RAW files is increasing due to AI?I’m very curious about how photography will be approached with the rise of AI. Taking photos is an art form. Editing those photos is an important part of that process (or can be). Editing helps create a distinctive style and signature. This requires both skill and time. This is also why many photographers are reluctant to hand over their RAW files. It feels like giving away the ingredients before they’ve been shaped into the final recipe. But in a time where you can drop photos into an AI tool and have entire batches edited within minutes in a specific style (or even multiple styles), this may come under pressure. My prediction is that this will increase the demand for RAW files. But I’m very curious to hear your perspective on this—and how you deal with it (or would like to). - Event photography vs AI: do you feel insulated?I'm a software dev getting more serious about event photography on the side. I even have a hopefully regular paying client. Generative AI can obviously fake a convincing photo, but for events the value is capturing real moments. That feels harder to displace than, say, stock or product photography. Do working event/wedding/theatre photographers feel the same? Has the rise of GenAI actually changed anything for you? Are clients asking about it, or is this a non-topic? Feel free to add your thoughts if you come from another area of photography! submitted by /u/flowmyna [link] [comments]
- No ai?does anyone know of photo editing software/apps/etc. that doesn’t use AI? I looked into vsco a little bit, and I think that uses a good bit of ai, right? and so many of the photo editing apps I see use a good amount of ai. I’m against using ai, and if I do some photography and editing, I want it to be *mine*. I’m not a photographer, I’m just a teen wanting some hobbies. and preferably apps without a subscription, cause I’m broke, and no ai. submitted by /u/Proof-Condition4614 [link] [comments]
